Paragon paid ads audit: four well-matched LinkedIn campaigns and one broken AI page

Paragon is the embedded-integrations platform for B2B SaaS and AI products that need to ship hundreds of customer-facing integrations without staffing a dedicated team to do it. Its LinkedIn account runs a focused, technical-buyer playbook: a flagship AI ingestion campaign, a live webinar, an ActionKit launch, a workflow-builder tutorial, and a build-vs-buy guide. Four of the five destinations deliver on what the ads promise, but the headline AI campaign sends 10+ paid clicks per round to a Framer 404 page, which is the single highest-leverage fix on the account.

How this account runs paid ads

Paragon runs a single-channel LinkedIn account aimed at technical buyers: AI engineers, platform leads, and SaaS founders. The campaign mix splits into five distinct stories rather than recycling one creative across many pages.

The biggest push is around AI ingestion, with 10+ ads driving to a /paragon-for-ai destination. The ad headlines lead with a 7x speed claim and name specific data sources like Slack, Notion, Google Drive, and Intercom. That positioning would be strong if the destination resolved, but the page is currently returning a Framer 404, which means every click on this campaign right now hits a dead end. Until that is restored, the rest of the account's spend is doing the heavy lifting.

The other four campaigns target different stages of the funnel. A live RAG webinar drives registrations with a date-anchored offer. ActionKit and the workflow-builder use case sell a one-API path to 1000+ agent actions with proof-led pages. The build-vs-buy guide reaches earlier-stage SaaS buyers who are still deciding whether to build their own integrations layer. All four of these align cleanly with their landing pages.

Common patterns

// Pattern 01

One channel, five distinct buyer stories

Paragon does not run a generic 'integrations' campaign. Each landing page targets a different buying moment: AI builders, webinar attendees, ActionKit early adopters, workflow-builder embedders, and SaaS decision-makers. That separation usually correlates with stronger post-click performance, when the destinations are all live.

// Pattern 02

Outcome-led ads paired with capability-led pages

Across four of the five pages, the ads lead with a quantified outcome (7x faster, 1000+ actions, ship in an afternoon) while the page hero leads with a category label or product feature. Pulling the ad's number and outcome into the H1 is the recurring fix.

// Pattern 03

CTA mismatch on top-of-funnel pages

Several ads use 'Learn more' or 'Sign Up,' implying a content read or self-serve path. The landing pages default to 'Book a demo.' Aligning the primary CTA to the click intent (Read the guide, Watch the tutorial, Start for free) would shorten the gap between ad expectation and page action.

// Pattern 04

No monitoring on paid destinations

The /paragon-for-ai page is currently a 404 and is still receiving 10+ live ad variants. A simple uptime or 404 check on every paid destination would have caught this before the spend was wasted.

05

Should you copy this playbook?

If you sell developer tools, AI infrastructure, or integration platforms into technical buyers, the structural choices here travel well. One channel, one destination per buyer moment, and proof-led copy at the page level is a credible way to run paid LinkedIn at this kind of ACV.

What to copy carefully: do not ship a high-spend AI campaign without a live destination monitor. Even strong creative, sharp targeting, and a well-resourced landing page program cannot save spend that lands on a 404. A weekly automated check on every paid URL is a one-hour project that would have prevented the biggest issue on this account.
